Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG), the President Donald Trump-linked entity behind the social media platform Truth Social, announced Wednesday that it had filed trademark applications for “Truth Social AI” and “Truth Social AI Search” as part of its plans to develop artificial intelligence capabilities for its social media platform.
The AI functionality will be integrated into Truth Social’s iOS and Android mobile apps as well as its web platform, according to the company, which trades under the ticker DJT on Nasdaq and NYSE Texas.
“Integrating AI into Truth Social will be a big push forward in our initiative to expand and enhance the platform, further developing the Truth Social ecosphere as a one-stop shop for reliable information, non-woke news, and entertainment,” said Devin Nunes, Trump Media’s CEO and Chairman.
In addition to its AI initiative, Trump Media is accelerating plans to launch a suite of America-first digital asset investment products.
The company recently filed a registration statement with the SEC seeking approval for the Truth Social Crypto Blue Chip ETF, which would hold Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, XRP, and Cronos.
The proposed ETF is part of Trump Media’s crypto strategy, which includes filings for Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs, along with plans to establish crypto treasury holdings worth billions of dollars.
