DeLorean, a renowned auto brand, has announced a partnership with Otherlife, a Web3 creative agency and a Moonpay branch. The collaboration is aimed to establish a revolutionary marketplace that will enable DeLorean enthusiasts to acquire, trade, and exchange vehicle reservation build slots.
In the case of Otherlife, they specialize in digital design, possess Web expertise, and develop technical game plans specifically for Web3 and the metaverse. The agency was taken over by Moonpay last year.
Otherlife is known to have been associated with companies such as Microsoft, Mastercard, Arsenal FC, Coinbase, and others. The entities will use blockchain technology, and the reservation procedure will be absolutely clear and safe. To help them make future decisions, there will be details maintained on all aspects pertaining to buyers, sellers, and customers engaged in exchanges.
As per the Chief Technical Officer at Delorean, Ben Marquart, the company has been a leader in the auto space for a long time now, and their collaboration with Otherlife will only help in moving the brand to new heights.
According to both companies, the proposed space will become active by the end of the year, as per the target set. It will be positioned on delorean.com, enabling the existing build slot holders to control their reservations. Added to that, fresh reservations for the next production will be available to customers soon after.
