China’s Tai’an Star Era 16 satellite has become the first in the world to feature a visual blockchain system called ADAChain, which can achieve functions like on-orbit multi-signature authentication and remote sensing data storage certificate confirmation. The satellite’s goal is to collect spectral information for precision agriculture, water and mineral resource management, environmental monitoring, and emergency safety.
